Welcome to Epic Group! I am Susan, and on behalf of my business partners Joe and my husband, Bob, we are thrilled that you have stopped by. We created Epic Group so that we can deliver high-end custom finishes for our clients, with a personalized approach. We take the time and attention needed to create the space, functionality, and beauty that you have dreamt of for your renovation, new addition, outdoor oasis, or custom-built new home.
Along with the best suppliers and trades in the industry, we have developed an unparalleled team that will take your project from beginning…to EPIC! And, while it’s not a prerequisite to be our new BFF’s, we certainly are blessed that we’ve created some long-lasting friendships with past clients and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
Susan Dyas
Growing up on a tobacco farm in Woodford County, KY (yes, as in Woodford Reserve Bourbon!), Susan is a forever faithful UK Wildcat who has called Dublin home since the late ’90s. She is the heartbeat of Epic Group and our relationship-builder extraordinaire. When she’s not playing “Gigi” to a host of grandsons, she’s shopping with clients and helping them through the myriad of design selections for their projects.
Bob Dyas
One of 8 kids raised in Upper Arlington, Bob headed west to become a CSU Ram and to ski the gorgeous mountains of Colorado. He came back to Ohio to raise a family of four. A CPA, Bob is our numbers guy and #1 construction dude, in charge of our larger-scale additions and new custom homes. He has spent his career in the construction industry, with the last 30 years as a home builder and remodeler.
Joe Minardo
Joe and his wife Amy are high school sweethearts from Cleveland who came to THE Ohio State University and stayed to raise their family in Dublin. With a long history in the remodeling business, Joe is our go-to guy for outdoor living projects, as well as basement, kitchen, and bath projects. Empty nesters, Joe and Amy are avid Browns and Buckeye fans who love to travel out west and are checking off their list of Fourteeners. That’s climbing mountain peaks with an elevation of over 14,000 feet tall, for those who don’t know the mountain lingo!
Brad Kriesch
Brad is a well-known and respected master trim carpenter who has brought his creativity and unmatched eye for detail to our projects for close to 20 years. He now brings this much-appreciated skill to his role as Production Manager. Give the guy a pile of wood and he will design a piano … or something equally amazing! He and his wife Mary are enjoying life with their kids, grandkids, and houseful of dogs. On the jobsite, he’s often known as “Brad-opedia” for his jaw-dropping knowledge of just about everything.
Todd Troyer
An electrician by trade, Todd worked as a contractor for Epic Group for several years before joining the team as a Project Manager. A true client-favorite, Todd is our bonafide country boy - he and his wife Becky raised their 4 kids on a farm with livestock. Todd uses his extensive knowledge of the construction industry to oversee renovations and additions for us and literally has one speed...Fast! He’s always on the move! While he pretends to be gruff and rough, he’s well known for his sense of humor. And, well, that mustache, of course!
